Questions people ask
Where do the figures come from?
Every number is from the NCUA 5300 call report each credit union files, for Q2 2026 (quarter ended June 30, 2026). Ratios are computed the way NCUA's Financial Performance Report computes them: year-to-date income annualized and divided by the average of this quarter and last December.
What does the percentile under each figure mean?
It places the credit union among every credit union in the same NCUA asset-size peer group, from 0 to 100. For ratios with a better direction (higher capital, lower late loans, lower loan rates) 100 is the best in the group; for size and mix figures it is simply the highest.
Which figure is marked as best?
The underlined figure in a row is the best of the credit unions you picked, for ratios where a member is better off with a higher or lower number. Size, mix and growth-neutral rows have no winner.
Are the loan rates what I would be offered?
No. They are the rates each credit union reported for that loan type on its call report. Your own rate depends on your credit, the term and the collateral. Ask the credit union for a quote.
Can I share or save a comparison?
Yes. The address bar updates as you add credit unions, so copying the link shares the exact comparison. Download CSV saves the table.
