Questions people ask
What can I filter on?
State, asset size, charter type, federal insurance, NCUA's low-income designation, minority depository institution status, NCUA peer group, and a minimum or maximum on any of the 53 figures, from return on assets to the new auto loan rate a credit union reported.
Where is the data from?
NCUA's 5300 call report for Q2 2026 (quarter ended June 30, 2026), filed by each credit union. Ratios follow NCUA's Financial Performance Report formulas: year-to-date income annualized over the average of this quarter and last December.
Can I download the results?
Yes. Download CSV saves every row that matches your filters, with every column you chose, not just the page on screen. The full dataset is also on the data downloads page.
Can I share a screen?
Yes. Filters, sort and columns are kept in the page address, so the link reproduces the same list.
Why does a tiny credit union top a ratio?
Very small credit unions can post extreme ratios from a handful of loans. Set a minimum asset size, for example $100 million, to compare like with like. The ranking pages already apply a size floor.
