Questions people ask
How is this list ranked?
Highest net worth ratio, $100 million and up. Net worth divided by total assets. NCUA's rules treat 7% or more as well capitalized (12 CFR 702.102). Only credit unions with at least $100 million in assets are included, so a very small credit union with a handful of loans cannot top the list. Ties go to the larger credit union. Figures come from each credit union's NCUA 5300 call report for Q2 2026 (quarter ended June 30, 2026).
Can I see more than 100, or filter by state?
