Questions people ask

How is this list ranked?

Most paid out on deposits, as a blended rate, $100 million and up. Annualized dividends on shares plus interest on deposits, divided by average shares and deposits. A blended rate across every account the credit union pays on, not an advertised rate. Only credit unions with at least $100 million in assets are included, so a very small credit union with a handful of loans cannot top the list. Ties go to the larger credit union. Figures come from each credit union's NCUA 5300 call report for Q2 2026 (quarter ended June 30, 2026).

Can I see more than 100, or filter by state?
